On Sunday, October 20, 2024, STIE Krakatau students, represented by Ade Wirayoga, Darius Firmansyah, and Siti Amaliyah, secured first place in their respective competition categories.

The three students from the Management study program represented the institution in the Student Men's Doubles and General Public Mixed Doubles categories.

The Unila Open championship is held on a regular basis. In previous badminton competitions, Siti Amaliyah secured third place at the 2023 Lampung Provincial Student Sports Week (POMProv) held at Polinela.

Meanwhile, Ade Wirayoga and Darius Firmansyah are badminton athletes who represented Lampung Province in the 2024 National Sports Week (PON), held from September 9 to 20, 2024, with Aceh and North Sumatra serving as hosts.
